I would like to thank all who attended our fantastic Christmas market. We are planning another Christmas Fair for 2013. Hope to see you there and keep checking our website for details.
I hope everyone had a chance to sample our food? The Hansa Schenke was open all 3 days with daily specials of German Food.
We are planning to start a few new initiatives in 2013. We will keep you posted!

Hansa Goes Classic |

For the this instalment of “Hansa Haus Goes Classic” we managed to engage the services of bass-baritone Andrew Tees and coloratura soprano Charlene Santoni. Both are newcomers to this concert but both are seasoned and well known opera performers who will join Wendy Dobson and Vanessa Grant to round out the cast. For the piano accompaniment we are proud to have once again managed to obtain the talented William Shookhoff whose “Opera by Request” performances have established an almost weekly opera showcase for opera lovers in Toronto.

The program will include excerpts from the world of opera, operetta, and musical theatre and feature music composed by the likes of Bizet, Mozart, Korngold, Grieg, Offenbach, Bellini, Puccini, Strauss, Delibes, and Kalman.
This event is open to any one who enjoys classical music!
